- Was there anything you didn't like?They have stolen my money. I had pre-paid this reservation in advance through Booking.com and when I arrived to check in there was a new start on Reception who didn't know what she was doing. When she ran my card to put a hold on it for incidentals, she's didn't know how to do it and when she finally figured it out, she charged me the room rate again. I noticed this charge later that night in my pending on my credit card statement after I got an email from my credit card company saying I was now close to my limit. When I went back to the hotel at night to find out why, I was spoken down to like I was stupid and told this is just a temporary charge because Booking.com never sent them a virtual card and this money would be refunded right away. I was told it wouldn't be because I used to work in hotels and the new girl has messed up and actually took the payment again but was gaslighted, patronised before told "good night" Well, in my credit card statement it's now come off as a full amount (in addition to the paying it weeks ago on a different credit card, the incidentals hold and another room rate hold). Something really wrong here. I will be in touch with both my credit card company and Booking.com and I will be leaving more bad reviews about this place everywhere on all the other review sites and travel forums I am a member of. I knew something was wrong but was spoken down to and lied and now I'm out of pocket too.
