- What did you like most?The room was nice and clean but that was it.
- Was there anything you didn't like?This hotel was advertised as a 4-star property on Booking.com, but in my experience it fell far below that standard. I’ve honestly stayed in hostels with better service and overall quality. The breakfast was particularly disappointing. Everything was served with plastic knives, forks, spoons, and plates, which you’re expected to throw away after eating. It felt cheap and not in keeping with what you’d expect from a 4-star hotel. If you’re arriving via BART at Civic Center Station, I would strongly advise against walking to the hotel. The property is located next to the Tenderloin area, and our experience walking from the station was very uncomfortable. There were visible drug issues and human waste on the streets as we approached the hotel. This was simply our experience, but it made us feel uneasy. Overall, we felt misled by the 4-star rating and found the stay very disappointing. Unfortunately, it felt like a bit of a con.
